...we had Kirsten's little photo shoot yesterday. Here's my beautiful girl. :)
I'm still getting used to the hair color - now I know what I did to my mom all the years that I loved experimenting so much. I'm totally on board with Kirsten playing with that stuff within reason, but yeah - it's hard to see her be there already. :pAw, blogger munched the pics a bit, so click on 'em if it bugs you like it bugs me. :p

Ooh, and for days now I've been wanting to share this pic of Maiah I took last week. Watch it get munched too. :( (I was trying to get pics of her walking that day, but haven't sized any yet. This shot caught my eye though and I had to share it. I just can't resist her little face. )

It was just a crazy-busy week.

I'm finally done with the wedding project I've been working on forever & ever. Yay! I handed Jeannette digital negatives on Thanksgiving. In the end I think the number of shots was manageable for them and not so overwhelming. Hooray! I just really hope they like them. It always makes me nervous, I just want happy people. I personally thought that they were beautiful, happy & adorable throughout, but I love 'em so I may be a little biased. :) One good thing about me holding their pics hostage forever is that they can surprise people in time for Christmas?! Yay. :) I'm going to celebrate by re-acquainting myself with my WoW friends. At least that's the plan. Haven't made it on yet. :(

I think it's sad I didn't manage to blog on Thanksgiving. We had some good food with a bunch of Vern's family. It was nice. I was tired. I hadn't slept in 2 days at that point. I made it up that night though. lol

The no-sleep thing does seem to be a trend - I was up all last night decorating my tree. Well, and dealing with a babe who had a rough night. That's what made me take so long. (Every time I got her settled back down I snuck back out to keep going. I'm all stubborn like that.) I've been tired of my old tree decorations the last few years, and this year I found a really pretty gray & silver tree skirt and gathered me some black & silver ornaments. I'm in love - it's just the prettiest tree ever. Yeah. :) It's not quite finished yet though - I need a topper. I'm thinking I'll buy some wide wired black ribbon with silver trim & make a bow for the top. Or something like that.
I of course took some pics of my handiwork so far to share. Well, mine & Elijah's handiwork - he woke up at 5 am and helped me finish. He's awesome like that. He was just bummed there were no presents yet. lolHmmmm... They look dark on here. Oh well, you get the idea. :)

One more piece of unfinished business is Kirsten's hair.
We lightened it last night. It's light! It's also really bright! lol She's hating the brassiness - we're going to have to buy some cool-toned blonde dye to tone it down. She says she feels like a banana. Poor thing. So no pics yet. Not til it's all fixed & she's feeling good about it. :) (She was willing to go to see New Moon with me in between our two lightening attempts. It was more orange and less banana-ey at that point.) My brave girl. It was worth it I hope. I'm pretty sure Taylor made it so. ;) lol

Well Ej's sounding not-so-hot this morning & Maiah's not sounding much better. I need to get 'em their meds & then if some bigger people would wake up I think I'm ready for a nap. :p

Some people use their blogs as a place to really write and contemplate different things. Some people share their creativity, use it as a business venue or a social tool of sorts. I'm not really sure what mine is about. I don't take the time to be deep or write lengthy posts very often, and I'm not some super-crafty person who's sharing my amazing creations with the blog world. I'm just some girl who likes to poke her head in here and say a little something sometimes & share images along the way. I hope that's okay with those of you who make it here. I do appreciate the readership - it's so nice that I'm not just talking to myself. :)

Yeah, I spent some time reading through some of my friends' blogs tonight. It was nice catching up. I know some amazingly creative, successful, talented and thoughtful people. Most of them I don't get to actually talk to or visit with very often. Blogs are great that way. I feel like I had some girl time tonight between making dinner & diaper changes. Yay! Go me. :)

Um, hmmm... I'm going to cheat & add a 13th shot to answer this. I took the first shot, cropped it a tad blew it out a bit & turned it black & white. I like how that turned out. If I can't cheat like that then probably the 10th one. I think I maybe look the skinniest there.

Duh. The full length shot. Oh, and the 3/4 shot above it where I can so totally see how uncomfortable I am when she's obviously taking more than head & shoulders. Yeah, so retarded. lol Numbers 4 & 5. *shudders*

Probably the 8th. I have no clue why. Well, I kinda do - I look the most like my younger self there if that makes sense. Not sure what it is, but yeah.

Well, I didn't get a pic of Vernie in his Jedi costume yesterday (which he slept in & is still wearing - I'd grab my camera if it weren't so dark down here). He actually wasn't really into the whole trick-or treat thing this year. Must be the whole not-super-into-candy thing that is my LV. (Don't get all excited for me - yeah he's not into junk food, but he doesn't eat veggies at all either. :p)

I also didn't get a shot of B before he headed to Mo's. He's anti-let-mom-take-my-pic anyway and it's not like he was dressed up for Halloween.
I'm just sayin'.

I have no Kirsten picture either - but I already showed you guys her costume.

So yeah, here's my little Buzz Lightyear, and my big girl.(Yeah, no costume for Maiah - though she was a decidedly big girl yesterday. She took her very first steps. Go baby go!)Almost 10 months. Still no teeth. Stable on her feet. Likes cinnamon raisin granola & cuddles. Lots & lots of cuddles. My beautiful babe. :)
