I have the biggest, baddest, owiest headache ever. It's been going since yesterday & nothing I've done or taken has kicked it. So... I'm off to hide under a pillow or something but did want to poke my head in here and send some squishes out.

It's Friday!

...and I haven't posted since Tuesday?! Guess I was busy enjoying the sunshine & having my kiddos home. Maiah has been a blast to play with - she's gotten so talkative and playful. So fun! :)

I haven't done a meme in forever. Since I'm not thinking of anything super awesome to say I'm thinking I'll find one to do. Okay, this one's totally random, but it looked quick. :)

Because I said so? lol I did have me some pudding today, and Little Caesars made us dinner, so we're off to a good start. :)

Pudding! :D lol Okay, um - french onion soup with lots of cheese crusted on top can be a little awkward to eat in public, but I love it so I do anyway.

Um, my first job was as an animal handler at Willowdale Animal Clinic. I was 15 (lied about my age to get the job :p) and I have no idea how much the check was for.

Um, hmmmm... I haven't been eating so much. I did have a yummy little quiznos sonoma turkey sammie & side salad for dinner one night. It was yummy. :)

Hey guys! How's it been going? It's been a few days, so an update was in order.
We're doing okay. Mostly.
At least I think so. :p
Just a little sleepy, but that's kinda normal around here.

With the school-aged kiddos off track again & lots of little things going on there just hasn't been a lot of rest. At least there's sunshine. Yay! :)

In all seriousness though, sleepy might not quite describe the level of tired going on. It's pretty epic. In fact, princess beautiful & her most favorite mommy in the world are headed to bed.

fun, sadness, raid goodies, a sweetheart & yeah...

I'm so sleepy & need to head to bed, but wanted to quickly post an entry first.

We had a great time with Laurie & Ty today! Didn't get to do everything we planned though, so we're headed out tomorrow for a bit again. I really do need to sleep soon - have a "moms & muffins" thing at my kiddos school first thing in the morning too. Fun fun fun - but I'm tired just thinking about it. (Oh, and I didn't get to work on the pics yet guys - will do that tomorrow for you Ty. )
Arinne had a great raid night! I finally got the last few valorous badges for her tier 7.5 shoulders, won the robe & finally got a new wand. Go Ari! She just needs the helm now & to replace her heroic gloves with the valorous ones. She's almost there - and just in time for Ulduar. Yay! I've missed so many raids lately & have watched over Vern & B's shoulders here & there - so it was fun to go. And win! Yay!(Okay, so that's really why I wanted to post. Was just a happy little night for Ari!)
Richard made my night by being a sweetie right when I needed it. He's got a knack for doing that. Hope he gets feeling better. /humungosquishies!!!
Maybe it's just the tired thing, but I'm really not feeling so hot tonight. Was all down again until my little dose of kindness from R, and it's slowly seeping back. Not sure what's up, but hopefully I'll sleep it off.
I'm realizing this little blog needs a dose of sweet Maiah. Will need to get some new pics of her to share! :)

Sunday walk

We took the camera with us on our walk today. It was a beautiful day for walking & for taking pics. :)The light was so pretty at these rocks & Kirsten took a bunch of pics of me. Thanks K! I've been kinda down, but felt sort of pretty today so it was nice to spend a few moments looking through these. I'll have blogger shrink 'em smaller so that you all don't have to look at 'em closely if you don't want to. Really, this is just for me. Sometimes you look better than you feel, and that's gotta count for something, right? :) At least it somehow made me feel better. :P

Oh yeah, and this is me not sleeping again even though I have a busy Monday ahead. Maiah's had a rough night. She doesn't seem to like it when I eat chocolate, and today was an eat chocolate kind of day. (Elijah discovered that I like reese's pb eggs too, so he shared with me. A whole bunch. :p I normally have more willpower than that, but like I said - rough sort of weekend.)

spring stuff

So it feels a little cold to be Easter already, but considering we've had snowstorms during our family egg hunt in recent years I guess today wasn't such a bad day after all.

I took some pics of the signs of Spring popping up around our house yesterday. The little pink buds on our trees and our tulips.Isn't Spring so pretty? :)
We also had our camera out today some while over at Nina's for lunch & coloring eggs before the hunt, and some pics at the egg hunt of course.
Isn't Kirsten's new haircut adorable? We went & got it done on Friday as a reward for watching Maiah most of Thursday. People keep telling her she looks so grown up & that she looks all adorable & pixie-like. What she likes the best are the ones who catch the Alice Cullen resemblance, since that's what she was going for. She does love boys who sparkle after all. :p

officially uncool

As if you haven't all figured this out, here's some Friday night proof of just how seriously uncool I am. There are no hot dates or interesting happenings going on around here. These are examples of my uber activities these last few Fridays...

~late night walks in the holey moley cold (I'm still trying to warm back up)
~dreaming up different ways to enjoy pudding :)
~making paper airplanes with my kiddos (that was actually fun!)
~showing Kirsten Orion on a clear night
~combating sickies
~yogurt with coconut sugar fixes. mmmm...
~escaping the qubo by hiding upstairs :p
~watching cooking shows & ordering pizza. lol
~way too much snow & cold
~figuring out that almost none of my clothes fit. seriously sad stuff.
~itching for wheels. rollerblades or a bike would be wonderful :p
~walking everywhere instead :)
~Easter creme egg runs for Kirsten & B
~laundry. yay :p

Speaking of which, now that Maiah's asleep in my arms I should go fold some laundry. (Upstairs - away from the qubo. Oooh and I still have some coconut & some strawberry yogurt. Not quite pudding, but yummy anyhow.)

Four Days

It's been four days since my last entry - must be time for some catch-up. :)

It's already April! Time's just flying by.
Elijah's finally feeling better. No more ear infection, cold or rashes. Yay!
The 3-word game. Kirsten & I play it on walks. Just say the first 3 words that come to mind to describe the other person. Kirsten by April = outgoing, athletic, fun. April by Kirsten = quirky, funny, loving.
Brrrrr... It's cold down here today.
Vern's been working crazy hours.
PT conferences went well. I love my kiddos. :)
Pomegranate Acai berry Fuze. Yum.
I'm excited to see how Kenyon & Jeannette's announcements print up. She should get 'em today or tomorrow.
Brandon's been sleeping like crazy lately. Growth spurt maybe? :p
No more Megan on Idol! Now to get rid of Anoop.
