...I've barely been able to play WoW. Just a couple of raids and the odd daily. OC is having a rough raid stretch. We're going some, just not doing as uber as we should be.
...I haven't been able to play AoC in days. :p I think the J withdrawals are worse than the gaming ones. I miss my friends. :(
I so wanna play too. I could use a dose of fun.
...Tomorrow night is our house inspection. I have callouses and could use a months worth of hand lotion for all of the scrubbing I've done these last few days & from steam cleaning our carpets.
(I was up until 5 am doing carpets. Gives them a chance to dry before kiddos wake up and start spilling stuff again. :p)
...I got me some cute shoes for Laurie & Ty's wedding. Now if only I had a skirt that actually fit. ><
...There are peppers, cantaloupes, tomatoes and squash in our little garden. Yum.
...It's 1 day before our house inspection, 2 days til my birthday, 7 until the wedding and 8 until my ultrasound and our weekend trip to ID. Whoa.
...I need me some music. And some food. Maybe quiznos - it's been ages.

baby magic
Mmmm... I love me my Ej cuddles 'n kisses. They really are like magic.
After struggling to breathe all day yesterday, waking up feeling so icky today and just being kinda down of late today is feeling a lot like a cuddle with Elijah day. Yay! And if it's not too muggy to breathe outside maybe K & I'll go on a slurpee walk. Sounds magical to me :)

In need...
...of a dose of pretty.
And Kirsten's just the girl to lend us her face. :)
K followed suit and got her hair cut, complete with a donation to locks of love. The girl did an awesome job transforming K's super thick mane into a stacked a-line. Is she beautiful or what? :)
She's still getting used to it, but it's such an awesome look for her.

crazy locks and lots of love
So this morning Kirsten & I went to our local little national-chain-type walk-in hair place. I was sick of waiting. :p We took a before picture on our way there. Yeah, I know I look zombaliscious - I felt like crud this am, and, uh yeah. I guess it showed. But the point is look how crazy long my hair had gotten?!?! Yeah, it was time for a haircut. lol 
I have yet to learn hairdresser-speak. It never ends up how I thought I described it, but at least this time it was longer than I wanted, so it's really not a biggie. It's like they chicken out and don't believe me that I really want it that short. I do. :p It's really not so bad - just not what I was thinking. lol It does have lots of layers, and it's long enough to still play with. Gogo pretty sparkly bobby pins. :p I do still wanna play with color too. It's so much easier to grow color out with shorter hair.
The best thing was cutting off enough hair that I was able to donate to locks of love. It's the coolest thing. I'd have buzzed it for that. And when I told her that yeah, I'd absolutely love to donate to 'em I had no idea that it was company policy to then cut my hair for free. Go me! I walked out of there happy enough. :) It was soooo hot out though, and K & I were hungry, so we hit Taco Bell for some AC, cold drinks & fast food goodness.
I still collapsed when I got home, and K had to get ready to go babysitting so I figured I'd shower after my much-deserved nap and "do" my hair before taking the after pictures. lololol Uh yeah. I forgot how fast my hair dries when it's short. It takes like 5 minutes. I wasn't even fully dressed when it dried all funky-like. :p I kinda made it look not so retarded, grabbed LV and Elijah and went out to take some pics.
Poor LV - my camera weighs almost as much as he does, so every single picture is all angled (which turned out just fine - a lot of photogs have a hard time finding fun angles when they wanna "play" - they just need to add weights to their setup I guess. LV and his tired little 7 year old arms was a natural. lol Thank you babe. Even though you liked snapping pics when I was talking to Ej & goofing off. :p)

...am so hungry. I would so love some Cafe Rio right about now.
...am still laughing thinking about my kiddo's reaction to the idea of living in a castle. Makes me wish I owned a huge chunk of land somewhere. ;) lol --My kiddos and I were having fun looking through house plans and we kinda liked this castle-ish home - it'd fit in nicely somewhere in the foothills of our lovely valley. Then awhile later we found this second plan and they went nuts at the idea of a home of this magnitude. Brandon wanted one of the apartments in the West wing. Kirsten was trying to figure out where the biggest bedroom was (besides the master of course.) Vern tried to claim the tower as his own. LV just jumped around saying how cool it'd be to live in a house like that. I loved the lap pool, office setup, study/tower and the idea of extra room to help out family & friends. I so would not wanna be responsible for cleaning & maintenance of a building of that size though. o.O lol Was funny though - especially watching my kiddos' reaction.--

Hola blog readers! Sorry for the lack of entries lately. I've been so sleepy and out of it. Fun stuff. :p
I'm kinda sad - it feels like this summer has just flown by, with me always feeling some sort of icky or tired. August will be crazy busy though. Well, at least the first couple of weeks. With Lauren's wedding, the ultrasound, the open house in Idaho followed by driving through Yellowstone and Vern's, Brandon's, Kirsten's and my birthdays all in the next few weeks. Yeah, I guess I'd better wake up, huh. :p lol

a quickie
Yesterday I had my 16 week appointment. It was fun to listen to the baby and to plan the ultrasound. Three weeks from now I'll know if this is a boy or girl. Yay! :) That'll be a crazy week with the wedding and stuff too. I'm in disbelief that I'm almost to the halfway point. I still blame Vern. :p
As soon as I got home I checked into AoC and had just missed Hy. Sadness. :( Somehow I ended up suckered into an AV with Ves instead. lol The MC run did happen though. And Gig popped in for the first time in forever. Coolness. I checked back into AoC last night and there was still no Hy. (There's been too much "no Hy" lately. :( Makes for a sad April. We'll blame that one on me I guess. Maybe he got sick of the /hugs. :p) I ended up playing my new little toon. I think I like her. :) I'd actually love to play right now, but my kiddos have claimed computer turns & I promised my dr. I'd hop on my treadmill daily since my bp's been climbing. :p
So yeah, off I go. Have an awesome day! :)

5 things I learned today
...when doctors tell you that pregnant women burn easier and that you should wear sunscreen they mean it. (don't scoff at them and declare that you never burn. you will.)
...weeding your garden at noon is a bad idea.
...no matter how much you love your little black tank top and think getting some sun while weeding would be fun, you should probably do a check of how much of your chest shows while bent over your weed-ridden garden in said tank top. o.O Much more of me is pink than I'd like to admit. (yeah, go ahead and laugh at me.)
...wearing your only cute pair of sandals while playing in the dirt just might make them look a little less cute.
...not eating lunch or drinking much water before going outside at noon on a hot day may leave you weak and shakey-like. You should probably check that you at least have bottled water left for when you head back in. :p
Yeah, it's most definitely Monday. lol At least the garden got some much-needed lovin', and I did get me some color although pink wasn't really what I was going for. I'll wear a different shirt next time. And get some cheap flip-flops. And, uh yeah - I should probably wear sunscreen.

It's Friday!
What a week. :p Sorry for slacking in the blogging dept. There's something up with my blood sugars/iron I think. I've been sooooo exhausted and just have felt icky lately. I see my doctor on Tuesday though, so we'll see what's up. For now I'm spending plenty of time with my comfy pillow. :)
Being out-of-it lately has meant that I'm so missing certain friends. :( It's amazing how much I think about people I care about.
...and how much time I have to think when I'm not feeling well. lol
I'm itching to raid in WoW and to play me some AoC. I'm hoping ZA happens this evening & that I can snag my kiddos comp for AoC afterward. And that it works today. Yesterday I couldn't even get in - it kept on freezing up. :(
Well, I have some brownies to make for Lauren's bridal shower tomorrow and I'm hoping to snag a nap at some point this afternoon.

Happy Monday!
I think I'm still recuperating from our crazy weekend. I was supposed to log back into WoW last night, but decided to lay down for a minute while some headache meds kicked in and ended up passing out. I even slept in. :p Sorry Richard! I owe you some daily runs on Mari. /huggishness :)
Vern asked me tonight if I'd looked at the pics from our little mountain drive yet, and I hadn't so I started to. Fun stuff. :) Here's the first one I opened in PS.
These falls were a fun find. We took lots of pics here & our kiddos had fun climbing on the rocks. B's dying to go back up there with his friends and go mountain biking on some of the trails in the area. There were lots of hikers & people hanging out with their doggies up there. The only bad thing in this spot were the mosquitos. :p
Well, I feel like all I've been blogging about lately are little updates on what we're up to & photo-sharing, so it must be time for a meme or something fun. :p

Our 4th
We had fun at the park yesterday. It was overcast and just perfect out - no real sunshine, but it didn't end up raining either.
It was fun to see everyone & just hang out. My kiddos loved the fireworks. I managed to get a few shots - they actually turned off the baseball lights so it was a little better than past years for pics.

Independance Day
Last night we finally hooked my old comp back up to the network so I could transfer files, actions and stuff. Yay! Only sad thing was not getting to play AoC like I'd planned. Hy's gonna be lvl 80 by the time I get a comp here running it properly. lol
~My kiddos are all excited to see the fireworks tonight! I love fireworks and might even take my camera, even though our spot is sucky for picture-taking. (Too many lights from the rides and baseball field in the way.)
We had fun during our little mountain drive yesterday. I need to download the pics to share.
~Vern and I haven't had our annual fight yet. (I love celebrating the 4th, and get all patriotic - then I get mad because I'm still waiting for Vern to decide to help B & I with immigration stuff.) This year is even worse because his mom got us that lawyer in December and B & I did all the medical stuff & filled everything out, yet 7 months later we're still waiting on Vern to either get 3 notarized letters to the lawyer or to give me the paperwork so that I can. *bonks Vern on the noggin* No fight this year. I'm just sad that somehow it's still not a priority for him. Makes me feel so special. :(
Well, I should get ready for the day. I doubt the kiddos will get to go on rides at the fair at our park, but I'd at least like to take them over to walk around & partake in the excitement that is July 4th. :) I'd love to get my hair cut today too, but I doubt that'll happen either. I'll settle for some sunshine & a smoothie or something. :)
Hope you peekers have an awesome Independance Day! There's so much worth celebrating about this country. I've been waiting a long time to be able to call myself American, and even though I'm still waiting there's no place I'd rather be. :)

mountains, grads & happy 4th!
I've spent the evening getting kiddos ready for our little road trip tomorrow. We're headed up for a drive in the mountains. I have my camera ready, cute ones bathed & we bought snacks and treats to get us through the drive. We'll be gone all day and should have us a great time. :) So since I'm likely to come home sleepy & such I wanted to wish everyone a happy 4th of July just in case. Be safe, have a blast and take pictures if possible!!! :)
I did get my canon software installed, so I can share a pic of LV - my other little graduate.

mumbo jumbo
Yay! My new computer is all set up. Sort of.
I'm still working on bookmarks and the last couple of WoW patches. :p I have to get the rest of my photo-related software downloaded too. And my WoW mods which will be so fun to set up again. Not. :p lol I need to get files (think lots of pictures) transferred over. And all of my fonts. And PS actions. And mp3s. I need to find my wacom tablet software, and ooh I need to get vent. Even though I'm still headphone-less. I've only forgotten one or two passwords - which can be remedied when we set up my old comp for transferring stuff. I've been just focusing on what I can do online for now. Sadly we need to upgrade my video card. This runs AoC, but not well - my kiddo's comp handles it better when it decides to handle it. :p
So yeah, I may be abstent-ish for a bit from computer related stuff while I get everything set up.
My kids are all officially on Summer vacation now.
I took LV out yesterday for lunch to celebrate his good report card, and did the same thing for Kirsten today. There are pics too, but I can't download 'em until I get the software installed.
On the way home today I saw a sign at some herb place that had a remedy for gout - made me think of Jody. :) Last time I got to talk to him he was bored and I had to go. Sadness. :(
It's Canada Day, and there are gonna be fireworks at Ontario Place over Lake Ontario and at Canada's Wonderland like people here in Utah have never seen. Actually, I have yet to see a fireworks display anywhere here in the US that comes close to touching what they do where I grew up. My sis should take a video of some for me. :p (Gogo wet, green places with fewer restrictions I guess. Almost everywhere there's a big show in Toronto it's done over water. So pretty.)
Vern wants to go somewhere on Thursday. I didn't quite catch where - but it's gonna be a little day trip. Fun! :)
Kirsten and I were checking out hairstyles today, and I think I finally know what I wanna do with mine. It'll be a humungo change - right now my hair is more than halfway down my back and we're talking short-ish with lots of fun layers and hopefully some blondness again. Yay! There will be pics when I get to do it. What I've loved about having my hair this long has been twisting it up after my shower every morning to wear up all day in the heat then taking it down at night and having it be all wavy down my back. I've loved that. But short and easy sounds fun too. Especially when it involves shades of blonde. :) Kirsten wants a chin length a-line. She looks cute in shorter hair - it's just so pretty long. :p
Well, patch 2.3.0 is at 34%. I guess I'll go back to finding all of the little things that'll make this computer feel like it's mine. I do like that it's faster & not full of years of junk and am excited to see how my different programs (& games!) run.

Just had to say it. It's 8 pm and WoW is still downloading. I need a book or something.
I'm still working on bookmarks and the last couple of WoW patches. :p I have to get the rest of my photo-related software downloaded too. And my WoW mods which will be so fun to set up again. Not. :p lol I need to get files (think lots of pictures) transferred over. And all of my fonts. And PS actions. And mp3s. I need to find my wacom tablet software, and ooh I need to get vent. Even though I'm still headphone-less. I've only forgotten one or two passwords - which can be remedied when we set up my old comp for transferring stuff. I've been just focusing on what I can do online for now. Sadly we need to upgrade my video card. This runs AoC, but not well - my kiddo's comp handles it better when it decides to handle it. :p
